Sharing spreadsheets as PDF

A PDF is the easiest way to send a price list, schedule or report to someone who just needs to read or print it. They don’t need Excel, and they can’t change your numbers by accident.

How to convert Excel to PDF

  1. Choose your .xlsx, .xls or .csv files above.
  2. Press Convert to PDF.
  3. Save the PDF. Each sheet starts on a new page with its name at the top.

What to expect

  • Cell values are shown as they appear in Excel, including number formats.
  • Long sheets continue over several A4 pages; very wide sheets switch to landscape.
  • Charts, images, colours and print settings from Excel are not included. For those, use “Save as PDF” in Excel itself.

Frequently asked questions

Are formulas kept?

The PDF shows the calculated results, not the formulas.

Can I convert a CSV file?

Yes. CSV files are read as a single sheet.
